Nationally recognized management consultant Lanny Goodman founded Bridgeworks in 2001 and spun it off from his consulting company, Management Technologies Inc. in 2003. Lanny started his career by building and selling two small manufacturing businesses. He founded his consulting business, Management Technologies Inc., in 1980 and focused on strategic planning. He worked in a wide variety of settings including Mattel Toys and Disney Imagineering but found that he understood and was most comfortable with entrepreneurs in closely held companies, typically $5 to $100 million in sales.
In the late 1980s, Lanny felt the profound changes in technology, the shift in the American economy from manufacturing to service, the emerging sciences of chaos and complexity theories demanded a fundamental reassessment of management and leadership. Over fifteen years of research and experimentation, Lanny has developed a systematic process for designing and building companies that largely manage themselves.
Lanny holds a BA in Fine Arts and an MBA in Financial Management. He was honored by Inc. Magazine with a feature article on his work in 1998 and has been quoted often in Inc., Fortune Small Business, and the New York Times. He is also partner in direct marketing company Goodman Walker Inc. and when not managing three businesses he can often be found wrapped around one of his collection of guitars.
Nikelle Gessner, Operations
Nikelle manages day-to-day operations at Bridgeworks. She has a BA in Studio Arts and handles most of the Web design work, graphic design, and customer service.
After college and an eight month hiatus on the West Coast of Ireland where she was honing her prodigious Celtic fiddling skills, Nikelle worked in Sacramento for a couple of years managing a restaurant and playing in a couple of bands. Relocating to Albuquerque to be close to her family, Nikelle started with Bridgeworks in 2007.
Nikelle is a new mother and if you call Bridgeworks, you may hear Nori Kai in the background as she crawls around the office.
